The Center for Nerve Injury and Paralysis at Washington University School of Medicine offers a one-year fellowship in peripheral nerve surgery. The fellowship includes exposure to all aspects of peripheral nerve surgery including microsurgery with an extensive clinical experience. Time is shared between the departments of Neurosurgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Each fellow is expected to demonstrate sound judgment and technical proficiency in the diagnosis, treatment and management of nerve injuries. The program is continuously evaluated and updated to provide cutting-edge training that prepares fellows to be leaders in the specialty of peripheral nerve surgery.
